Welcome to the Hawthorne Website.   Here, you can visit our Gallery  where  a small selection of one of a kind/bespoke wooden giftware will soon be available to purchase.  You can also view a wide and varied selection of past commissioned wooden giftware created for corporate business and private individuals.  If you would like an item created that isn't on our site then you might find it useful to read our section on how to commission a gift. 

We also create wooden Irish giftware that can be purchased directly from our website in the shopping section.  Our giftware includes wooden boxes and pens.

Newtownabbey Small Business of the Year Award 2004

We are a family-run wood working business creating handmade one-of-a-kind/bespoke commissioned wooden items as well as our own selection of high quality wooden giftware with a naturally charming and original twist. Our giftware range is available to purchase via this website by postal cheque or by using PayPal and includes wooden boxes (jewelry, keepsake and ring boxes) and European Style Wooden Pens (mainly native wooden pens).  We are registered with the Crafts Council of Ireland. We are also Winners of the Newtownabbey Small Business of the Year Award 2004.


Our designer range of European Style wooden pens come in a range of native and exotic woods.  Each one is a personalised pen as no gift is ever the same when using wood for its creation.  We can also further personalise pens by pyrographing or laser engraving initials or a small piece of text onto them.

Fine Wooden Boxes (hand made jewelry box and keepsake box) - We are currently promoting our Little Irish Keepsake Box and our Ripple Sycamore Jewellery Box in the Shopping Section of this website.  If you're searching for a one-off handcrafted wooden box, perhaps a bespoke box, then please browse our Gallery Section which includes Art Deco Style Boxes.  We have recently added a ring box to our selection in time for Valentine's Day 2007, and have added images of a commissioned wooden flute case so please keep an eye on our website.

Other Giftware - All of our giftware is fully functional and we are always happy to discuss Commissions. Our creations are unusual wooden gifts that are naturally charming as Wedding or Anniversary Gifts (especially for the 5th Wedding Anniversary of Wood), Birthday or Christening Gifts, Retirement or Graduation Gifts, Corporate Gifts or Family Gifts.
